I left the garage door open this morning and had to break up a bar fight between 3 burly starlings around the bikes. One was very shook up, so i left it in the corner to come round before it summoned up enough courage to fly off outside when the coast was clear.
Eventually, I had to take a quick nap this afternoon... It was a lovely ride, quick and agile, no impediment, queues of cars. I communed with God and the Zen masters while I was at it, composed some poetry whilst going round the about round thing in the road, cursed the powers that be for all their low iniquity... Oh, and as the bike was warming up, someone switched on a bedroom light, and I tuned to face a dreamy girl looking down on me... I waved goodbye (to my daughter).
She glanced at the crazy old fool alone in the dark. Slowly she turned as the family dog began to bark. One by one the bedroom lights were aglow. So off he rode laughing with the knowledge ......he'd woken the whole BLOODY STREET UP.!!!!!
..01:29 & I really hope I win some cash soon, not that I gamble much. But a punt on the lottery now & then..
3:3 am West London, daytime - person tried to kill me with an expert sudden right hand turn out of traffic, unseen hand saved me. Nothing unusual: I might not be alive tomorrow night, so I'm off for safe ride in dark night rain.
You're kidding - Israel launched a major artillery and missile attack on Syrian military positions inc Damascus until dawn... Syria responded with missiles and artillery over the occupied Golan heights.. ; UK planes flew to act as decoys over Lebanon, so that Israeli planes could get in ... Russian jets harried the Israeli and made them return....(Israel provoked Syria, in order to use the excuse that the retaliatory missiles came from Iranian positions there fighting terrorist invaders - Syrian Army insist they fired them, ).
It’s 3.20 and I’ve been woken by my aching shoulder, taken some paracetamol and moved from the bed to the sofa to try and get comfortable.
Mornings are lighter now.Almost that time of year for the early dash to devils bridge and back and enjoy the quiet country side whilst everyone is still in bed.
I go out early every weekend its dry - or if I am home (work away a lot) - can not beat a ride at 4.30am - very little traffic to worry about - police camera vans don't seem to start to 7.00 - so I try and be home by then. Last week had 5 morning of nice rides.... now in China.... no rides just lots of long hot humid days working... looking forward to return and some more bike time... I too have trouble sleeping... I put it down to the constant travel and different time zones... but maybe its just old age...
It's work related I think. I couldn't care less if the house sells or not. SWMBO has a different view on that matter though
