I used to hate stereotypes, but I went to Newcastle a few years ago (in November) and while I was wearing jeans, fleece etc. many of the locals were wearing shorts, t shirts and generally skimpy stuff. I was going to take the piss, but once I got to know a few of the locals, and they got to know me (mainly through talking shite and buying each other drinks) we had a great laugh. PS : The size of the nipples in a previous post are rather disappointing, but the attitude of the "owner" should be commended.
The Didicoys don't go out in the rain, it's too much like having a shower. They are also in hiding, as that's when the church notices it's lead is missing from the roof.
Still cold and grey.Either raining or damp/miserable this morning. We are promised good weather for the weekend though.Something to look forward to.
About 3 this afternoon we had a little bit of sun and patchy blue skies, still windy though.About 4 it started raining and it has only just stopped peeing down. More weather updates later
Thank you for keeping me up to date on the weather in W Sussex ... where I live. Opening my curtains is such a faff  On the other hand, at least I don't feel so guilty having put the heating on last night
