  5. No problems fitting it at all, it's just 3x 4mm Allan head bolts to remove, then you just take the 3 rubber grommets off the old screen and put them into the holes on the new one, re install screws hand tight and bobs ya mother's brother

As far as I'm aware givi only make the bay window model for any year multistrada, I got mine from this guy on eBay, super fast delivery and incredibly well packaged

It's too tall in the highest position for me at Just over 6ft, I need to get a few miles in to decide what's best in the 3 settings with or without the seat raisers

  6. Thanks for this helpful link. It is for a GIVI model D7406ST screen 590mm long x 430mm wide, clear.
I already have the optional Ducati screen which is the same width (430mm) but 30mm lower (at 560mm), and smoked. A taller screen would be useful (I am 6ft2in) but I'm not sure £84 is worth it for just 30mm.

  7. It not just the height, there's a nice flip rite at the top of the screen, and it wraps around a lot better than the DP screen, I sold my DP screen to my mate as even in the highest position the wind was still hitting me in the visor and my shoulders.

Ill get a photo of the side of the screen so you can see how it's formed, in the photos I uploaded you only get a 2D view of it

The only downfall to it is at custodial speeds, it does act as a bit of a sail, makes the front end a bit lively, but I kinda like it, im a bit odd like that

  8. Surely that depends on how big they are??

  9. I finally managed to visit Geoff today and he says he can remap any of the mulitstradas

  10. Interesting. No one else can, CJS, Motorapido. Can you find out more? Sure those with decaf systems will be mega keen to hear :)

  11. I can try to find out as much as you like bud but i think the main fact is that i went to see Geoff as it had been far too long and knowing how much Geoff likes his biscuits i took some along as usual unfortunately for Geoff i only took two packs this time but one pack was chocolate hob nobs :upyeah: i asked Geoff if he could remap the multistrada and he said yes , so i asked if that was all models and he said yes .
If you need to know more give Geoff a call or drop him an email , he's on Facebook and has a web page , bear with him as he does get very busy as you'll see buy the customer's you'll see on his Facebook page .
One of the last times i was there a guy and his other half had ridden from the Netherlands to get their GS flashed , this time there was two guys from the Netherlands , infact I'll dig the pic out

  12. To keep on a positive theme, my new Pikes Peak has a much smoother gearbox and engine than the BMW R1200RT LE I had from new, despite the quickshifter on the RT.

  13. Been in touch with CJS this week, it seems there might be a solution before Xmas....

  14. Yes I thought as much. No-one yet managed to break into DVT ecu or sort a program for it. 1 post above says the Ducati termi upmap is crap. Not sure if he,s actually tried it because mine is great.

  15. The full Termi system and upmap make the bike much better behaved around town. Still manic above 6K. Only downside is the price of admission...

  16. Yes very expensive to make the bike as it should have left factory. Out for the day now going east coast Yorkshire.

  17. The lights. First ride in the dark in over a year. Absolutely brilliant
