Fair play to the lad...can't fault him. A few weeks rent free would no doubt help him out.... They don't eat much, get washed or wash their clothes that often, so I'm sure he won't be a drain on resources.
He wants a KTM.... Phone every KTM dealer in the country one of them must be able to confirm if it can be restricted! Get young Mr. happy to join a KTM Forum and ask there......maybe lolapop can ask on one she has a KTM.
I almost bought the SM version a few years ago for around the town. They're shit loads more than the E. Probably still loads cheaper for parts and insurance than a KTM like.

How does that effect the build quality? I was chatting to a 'technician' at Fowlers about a possible purchase on a 990 SMT, he was NOT very complimentary of the Indian built smaller bikes, anyone got any additional input as a mate is considering a 200 duke as a commuter.
