It was a good bit of racing for me. I think he should apologise but this is racing at the highest level. No punishment! It made it a bit exciting. Remember when Rossi ran Gibernau off on the last corner? I can't remember what year that was or where. The moment sticks in my mind. As only a handful of moments do from the last 10 years I've been a fan. Watching theYamaha/Honda carousel isn't so fun any more.
tell them to stop burning money and waisting skills on the search for Moby Dick.. bring the boys home from the war and let them sort out their SBK...
Loved it. Some good battles going on. JL thrown his teddy right out the pram. Going to male the rest of the season interesting.
Were there shenanigans after the race? I didn't see the parc ferme part on Eurosport. I wondered why Jorge didn't seem angry in the post-race interview.
it was handbags at dawn really.. a wavey finger and that was it. i wanted to see fighting. fists flying and blood and gore with the whole team entourage, brolly girls - the lot..getting stuck in lol
Jorge refused to be drawn, said he was hot and not worth commenting right now. Marquez was delighted at his second, apologised to Jorge on camera and also admitted he understood why Jorge was angry as he'd be really mad if someone did that to him. Thats racing
My question as a non racer, is: is it OK to attempt a pass on someone if you know you have no hope of completing it without T-boning them? Surely that goes beyond a bit of fairing bashing? Marquez' pass (and Rossi's on Gibernau if I remember correctly) falls into this category. There are genuine mistakes, and there are deliberately over-risky ploys. It is all "just racing"?
To me, it look like JL wanted this to happen; if he couldn't see MM, he needs to get his blinkers off - go back a second and draw the lines up, se who is ahead and who is crashing into who. If JL hadn't seen MM, JL would have crashed, but stayed upright. To me, JL was the bad guy, MM might have been naughty, but JL is just being served his own tea back. No yellow card to be given; it's plaster or podium! That's how race is.
it depends on what camera you see lol but he nearly took him out earlier when he ran wide. it was a hard move up the inside. but I dont think he wanted that to halpen lol not a particular fan of one over the other
Eh? He wanted Marquez to nip on the inside and miss the turn so he'd get T boned? I don't understand your logic.
Because that way it paints MM to be the bad guy, and possibly gets him some form of punishment. I think MM is JL's biggest threat this season. He knew the move was coming and his plan didn't work and he lost out.
