Jerez Motogp # Spoiler#

Discussion in 'Racing & Bike Sport' started by Wassy, Jul 17, 2020.

  1. That Yamaha really hasn't been great over the last few years. Consistently down on power/through the speed traps and most of the riders have been vocal about the issues.

  2. They have sent 2 of the 5 engines back to Japan for analysis after the Jerez failure. I read they may be putting Rossi out with a lower rev limit on the bike - interesting to see how that affects his times.

  3. Yes but also i think he's accepted the fact that it's No more, but just for old times sake he would love to stand on that top step drinking champagne one more time.

  4. Well I’m sure that could be arranged. Y’know, when everyone else has fooked off...

  5. I’d love to see him given another go on the Ducati now that it seems others apart from Stoner can ride it. What a Hollywood ending that would be if he could tie up his tenth title on an Italian bike, preferably at Misano, dedicate it to Simoncelli and then retire. There wouldn’t be a dry eye in the motorcycling world if that happened.

Sadly, I think it’s unlikely, but you never know. We could start a petition on change.org!

  8. What a very suitable finale for such a great sportsman,if you can arrange it i'd be forever grateful.

  9. I just can't believe what i'm seeing at the minute,MM back on the bike and doing better than ok,i guess he needs to keep his reputation intact and pardon the pun but not show any cracks.

  16. Did I read he’s having an exhibition fight with Roy Jones Jr.?? I wouldn’t fancy stepping in the ring with either of them :scream:
I’m pleasantly surprised how Tyson’s kept it together. I thought he’d be dead before 30. He’s quite an illuminated character when you listen to him. I like him. And I wouldn’t like a bat in the ear from him. Even now:laughing:

    Hijack over....

  17. Absolutely. He’ll break the whole paddock.

I honestly don’t think he’ll win tomorrow. Surely he’ll knock it off a notch... won’t he??

  18. I think Marquez is seriously worried about quatarraro as even last season he was the only one in marcs world and nearly beat Marc on a few occasions , and now he’s won once he’ll have that extra confidence to win again whereas on normal side of things even all the other riders think marcs going to beat them as he’s got the psychological edge on them , the Honda isn’t the best bike out there demonstrated by all the other hondas come nowhere apart from Marc but his own will and skill And his own confidence where he thinks I’m better than this lot carries him to the front , Like last week apart from the coming off but no one else could come back like that in the modern moto gp era , as said quatarraro is the only one who is a threat to Marc and Marc knows it so like Hamilton To bottas he’s Wanting to quash him before he gets going

  19. Well i don't think he will be winning on today's show. 18th place and struggling to do more than one fast lap at a time and missing apexs and braking points.

    Still human after all.

  20. Unbelievable tbh I could hardly watch him. Elbow down as well, can’t imagine what his parents are going through.
