Jerez Motogp # Spoiler#

  1. There should be an asterisk engraved on the cup against the 2020 winner.

    *Marc Marquez got quite badly injured in the first round so this doesn’t really count properly.

    :laughing::laughing:

  2. Marquez, Rins & Crutchlow all passed fit to race this weekend!! Fucking Hell!!... Surely Marquez is going to suffer a lot with that arm? pinned/plated or whatever they've done it's not going to stop it hurting surely?

  3. I am not a fan of marquez never have been, i find his behavior on track appalling at times and the thing that really pissis me off 99.9% of the time he gets away with it but hey ho!! I wouldn't wish harm on any rider but surely the fact he could crash again with the potential for a career ending accident and be declared race fit to me is ridiculous!!
    PS: If he went to Ducati i might forgive him, a bit!!:joy:

  4. MM is just nuts

  5. Sometimes people need to be protected from themselves. IMHO this is a real lack of care from his team and Dr's involved. A break like that, in that place, cannot be fixed in a week. Remember when he did his eye in? He waned to ride then, too...

  6. He’ll be reet :astonished:

    The whole paddock are gonna look a right bunch of fannies if he wins! :laughing:

    It’s quite unnerving imagining the pain if he lobs it again.... :scream::scream::scream::scream:

    But I remember Stoner racing with a shattered ankle. Tough lads.

  8. Ankles, collar bones, small 'fractures' are one thing: a snap of one of the main and largest bones in the body entirely another!!

    And knowing Moaner, it would have been a tiny hairline fracture :p

  9. I can’t believe that the doctors have somehow put his arm back together in a way that will enable him to ride, that is hugely impressive. Putting the bone back together is one thing, that’s just like carpentry. It’s more the damage to the surrounding tissue, muscles, ligaments and tendons. That does not heal quickly, can cause a lot of pain and restricts the strength and movement of the arm. However if he has been cleared as fit to race then he must be able to ride ok.

    The thing is Marquez averages at least one crash every race weekend. A crash could cause some serious complications to his injury. He’s going to have to be very careful this weekend and I am sure that he is fully aware of that. Maybe Marquez at 80-90% and being careful is still quicker than some of the rest of the field, so he’ll probably pick up some points, which is what he wants to do. He doesn’t want to risk being left behind by Dovi and Quartararo in a 13 race season.

  10. :sob::sob:

  11. Its absolutely incredible that he/they are taking part this weekend.

    But surely the doctors have a "duty of care" and should warn against coming back so soon?? No doubt they've had waivers signed in triplicate to cover their arses.

  13. That is beyond unbelievable that MM is fit to ride this weekend. His arm is broken in two. That’s not a fracture, it’s split in half. How is this possible?

  16. Screws and no nails ?
    Screws and No Nails, personally think it’s ridiculous and as per @bradders comment needs protection from himself, stupidly crashed through greed in the first place instead of settling for a podium.

    Just hope he does not seriously injure himself or someone else before long - or worse.

  17. He's Spanish, in Spain with Spanish doctors giving him the thumbs up !!!!!!

    Say no more.

    He'll be drugged to the eyeballs to overcome the pain during braking and generally riding round a physical track. Madness and dangerous to himself and others, as he's proven time and again, he can't just ride round for points. ( That's how he broke it in the first place ffs)

    Repsol and Honda should be ashamed of themselves. God forbid no one gets more seriously injured or there'll be a lot of shifting the blame.

    Let's hope it's too painful on his first outing on Sat morning, and he pulls out.

  18. I like it....

    Just when the rest of the paddock thought it was safe to go into the water:laughing:

    He can’t take a cocktail of pain killing drugs ffs. It’s not allowed. He’s probably there just to psychologically noise up the competition. Maybe looking to score but not win. Interesting weekend

  19. You’re all missing the fundamental point-how the f—- can he steer a GP bike & brake with a two piece humerus?
