Jerez Next Week.

  1. Just driven across south Spain this morning and am now at Portimao. It rained hard about 80% of the time. Weather is indeed shite at the moment. 2 blokes in a Transit van won a white water rafting competition in Valencia.

Weather here seems much better. I wonder if I’ll get a shot on my bike this weekend

  2. Hardly got out! 1st day was okay then 3 wet, windy and cold days… pah…

  3. Bad luck. I was meant to be there but we decided against it as mate used cash for a new bike and I had every bill arrive for everything all at once. So, phew. Usually 30° and sunny. Rotton luck.

  5. Portimao looks wet as well, but not unusual for this time of year.
Brought wets, never used them, but looking at MotoGP last weekend shouldn’t be too difficult.

  6. Maybe wet Friday but Saturday and Sunday look okay. According to my app anyway… it’ll do what it’ll do I guess.

  7. Yes that is truly amazing

  8. Got sent a video of the river near our place in Vinaros, it has been so dry the last couple of years. Panta de Ulldecona was dried up last summer.

  9. Great meeting you today… Shame about the weather… tomorrow looking better! Yay!!! :D

  10. I wasn’t quite brave enough to strap on the wets so went for coffee.
    Came back and saw this…….:worried:

  11. Yeah saw that too… Quite a few red flags… I heard the rider of that bike telling his mate there was plenty of grip out there. Yeah, looks like it :astonished:

I ain’t no racer so don’t do the wet. Plus, the thought of my bike getting dirty horrifies me :D

  12. Riding in the rain with a set of good wets is great and honestly really good fun.
The iffy bit is you then start to get confident and decide to get brave and get faster ...............
