John Mcphee Currently Not In The Provisional List Of Riders For Moto2 In 2023

Discussion in 'Racing & Bike Sport' started by Android853sp, Nov 3, 2022.

  1. Tbf he was on a Honda when it was good though. Lol

  2. Given how poor us Brits have been in the grand prix classes I think Cal did OK, there was only Marc who could ride the Honda better. Would he have faired better staying with the Ducati or possibly going back to Yamaha??

Lowes, well he had a shot in the premier class on at the time the dog of an Aprilia, and even that wasn't the same spec as Aleix's, but I guess he made a few quid.

  3. McPhee has hit the age limit for Moto 3 so he is not allowed to compete. Looks like he is going to Supersport.
He has been shafted over the years. He had a contract to go to Moto 2 with Petronas, they reneged on that then the team disbanded the year after, so he ended up with Max Biaggi's team

  4. It cant be a done deal because youd have expected to be announced by now and there arent that many rides left.

  6. On a slightly different note how did i not see Bradley Smith racing in WSSP Argentina? (apart from him being at the back)

    Missed that one completely.

  7. Don’t know but they interviewed him twice. Started in Moto e this year and was endurance racing after a year off (and parting company with Aprillia) but got injured and missed a lot of the season. He’s 32 so perhaps a last hoorah in the twilight of his career :D Andy
