well you are beginning to loose me already !!,, so long as I can get photos of some Ducatis on mine then I am happy !!
No worries mate, I can do all that but I take my bike in to the garage to get even the simple things sorted although I used to do all my own work on my older bikes and cars, head changes, piston changes, belts and cams and even setting up carbs like the old side draughts.
me to mate..use to love all that stuff,, still do my own suspension and stuff ( when I have to !! ) but shy away from all the electric and engine stuff now,,, still love drivin tho !!
TBH I am not sure which i prefer,,it is about 25 years since I last sat on a bike !! apart from a couple of recent hours in freezing cold conditions.
You need to get out in the summer mate, I much prefer the bike, mind you my knee's won't always agree with me. :Facepalm:
don't get me wrong.. I am looking forward to getting back out,, I have never stopped wanting another bike,, was just always scared that i would finally kill myself after so many earlier attempts !! there may also be an issue of the roads are much quitter up here than down your way which still allows some pleasureable motoring.
I'd love to do that to be honest! Trying to sort a new house and have a 8 month old son so not really the best plan to have both, plus I don't really use the ZZR for its real purpose of touring so the 899 will do everything I need!
