I got an S and my mods are purely cosmetic thb So I got no other exhaust/map. No other rear sprocket. So nothing performance wise, other than upgraded LA Brembo brakepads at front and Serie Oro Brembo brake discs (due to bent OEM discs by previous ownership) What I do have are OEM crashbar, OEM bottom plate, OEM led blinkers at the rear, Puig touring screen, Touratec/Duc comfort seat and some nice and practical but a bit expensive Ducabike handguard protectors that go on top of the OEM's And it already came with a Navihalter GPS mount. And there seem to be a ton of other upgrades you can do, but for now, that will do
There's a mod where you install a diode between the high and low beam lights which gives you both high and low in the high position
so basically you are modding the brighest lightsystem on a bike of all time, even better than most modern cars, to be even more bright? why?
If it's not bright enough then buy the Aux lights. (PS It's plenty bright enough already with the LED lights)
Don't know if it's just me but what I find with the LED lights is they're very harsh on the eye when coming towards you. But to use, I don't find them that much brighter than halogen bulbs. The LED lights emmit a different colour light but I don't think they're really that much brighter.

These are the (limited, reversible) mods I have made to my DVT, bought in April: Taller tinted windscreen R&G crash bungs (front & rear wheel spindles and frame) RAM ball SatNav mount TPMS wired in Tank top bag ring mount Pneumatic comfort seat pad Grip puppies soft grips Enduro larger footrests Replace Scorpions with Michelin PR4s GB sticker Dash screen protector Satisfied with these, not planning anything further.
Those Enduro foot pegs are great (look a bit ugly), as on my '10 plate, my right foot was forever slipping off its perch, but not so with these massive jobs!
Rode mine the other night & after the Z1000sx lights which were none existent these bad boys lit up the whole road & could see much further too. The lean angle lights are brilliant too.
Not ridden in dark yet, looking forward to it as '10 plate wasn't brilliant, even with Osram Nightbreakers in. Mind you, the headlight on my '76 Kettle is the proverbial 'candle in a goldfish bowl'!
