I think it depends what is the labour charge In your area. London usually 90-100£ hour

 

I ordered the 1200S (with urban AND Touring packs) from Sergio at Manchester on Saturday, going for a test ride at 12 today ..... can't wait !!!!

 

I was quoted at £175 for the first service when due although he did say "about" before the £175

 

Mine is to be serviced foc, all I have to do is supply or pay for oil, If I recall though Protwins labour rate is very competitive anyhow

 

Bought one then...how much lower?!

 

Low enough for me to do it both feet touch ground, and that is the seat not in low, I have not even ridden one, where as if you recall only tip toes before, pick it up on Thursday if all go well, White though, could have got it earlier, but there is a back order on Crash Bars, and Enduro packs, well all packs, but did not want to pick up with out crash bars, like tempting fate.

 

Must say that Sergio at Manchester Ducati is the worst, by a country mile) I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with in 38 years of motorcycling & the sole reason I bought elsewhere ( double the distance)

 

give you more low speed confidence eh

 

I have to say after an hour on the new 1200S it is the most unbelievably smooth and comfortable Ducati I have ever ridden, in fact the riding position is perfect !! Can't wait for September !!!
