Going to Ducati this afternoon, but while here I decided to visit another museum. Not sure if anybody will have heard of these guys though,
Got to Ducati this afternoon. Museum has some great stuff in it Best part of the day was when the security guard refused to let 3 mates on a BMW, Honda & Suzuki park in the Ducati car park and told them to park down the road. I was welcomed in with open arms to park the Hyperdoodah in an almost deserted and exclusively Ducati filled car park ( apart from a Lamborghini) Once inside I was given a 5 Euro discount on entry for being a Ducati owner. I milked both of these today
The 1st hiccup of the trip on yhe Hyperdoodah today. My battery has given up the ghost and the bike had to be bumped after a fuel stop So I need a new battery tomorrow. A quick search of motorcycle shops close to my hotel showed this guy as the closest. Although I think I’ll give him a wide berth https://m.yelp.com/biz/gotthard-dick-bruck-großglocknerstr-2
Oh, battery update!!!! It turned out not to be my battery. Since about 2 days into the trip, the neutral light on the bike has been s bit temperamental, especially when hot. I just pulled the clutch lever in to start the bike if it was playing up. Anyhoo, when the bike wouldn’t start yesterday, I started it on the side stand in neutral, because of the intermittent light, it kept cutting out and wouldn’t turn over. It started up 1dt time this morning despite it being -2 overnight. I twigged that if the neutral light goes out while the bike is on its side stand, it will cut out. Apart from this minor niggle, the bike has been superb. The rest of the group are amazed how it punches out of the hairpins and sounds in the tunnels I’ll have a look at the switch when back home
