Don't let a tell Tim thread put you off

You know with managers they only like questions they can answer
I thought mine was a fair one but hey ho
It won't stop me being with my "friends" on here :)

  4. There is no smily to attach to your thread Andy that is useful, you are one of the best and most helpful people on here, don't be hastey and stick around a bit longer, the forum may be going through a change but the good guys will prevail.

  12. On the face of it this sounds good, problem is that it's all relative - one person having a laugh and another taking it the wrong way.

How many times to we see misinterpretation of the written word in everyday life? All the time. At work, books, emails, texts, etc. "OH!!! You meant THAT!!!" etc.

I, and I'm sure most people, can be offended by summat at one moment that would be water off a duck's most of the time for me. No matter how smart we all are - we are changeable creatures.

Sometimes it's better to let things just roll imo.

I mean, unless it's a forum for (real) children, we can all take a few knocks now and then, no real harm.

  16. I've seen threads turn embarrassingly bad on this forum. Threatening, bullying behaviour. It's eventually been sorted.

I've also seen heavy-handedness in dealing with banter.

In the end, you stick with the forum because it is more or less good enough to spend time in, or you leave.

  17. +100%.

That's what will make it entertaining and popular - and useful.

  18. Think we might need to convince @final_edition to want to comeback before he can convince @bradders to want to come back
