  1. My guess is they simply had no idea how to use the settings and it helps as a bit of click bait for increasing subscribers.

    Still funny tho ;)

  2. There are TONS of people who only go straight. and TONS more that love the mountain roads. You are just watching the wrong videos. I would not be surprised if the US spring was softer. Since we probably generally ride much longer and further on any given day. at least compared to all of the videos I watch from over there of people riding down a flat tunnel or bushes with barely a curve in them.
    BUT
we definitely have better roads than the UK. You all go to Spain and Italy on holiday to ride good roads... Remember we are large. so we have the good roads in the US that you go to another country for.
We have 3 mountain ranges here filled with well paved roads. How about over there?
I live at the Southern end of the Appalachian Mountains.

Appalachian Mountains, the Rocky Mountains, and the Sierra Nevada. The Appalachian Mountains run for 1,500 miles along the east coast of the United States from northern Alabama to Maine. The highest point of the Appalachians is 6,684 feet at Mount Mitchell in North Carolina.

BUT More importantly if they DID change the springs for the USA to softer they are fools. we are nearly ALL overweight for the stock springs for ALL motorcycles that get sold here. If they made them stronger maybe they would sell more here.

The more I think about it, i doubt they did it for the USA only. Too small a market.
Let me know if you ever find out

  4. I wouldn't. You should really garage her overnight. At least put a chain on and a disc lock.

  5. Is it still going bit replaced by something else?

  6. We had to fold it a few years back. The database was hacked and the bastards ran us up a £huge bandwidth bill before we clocked on to it. We were apparently hosting much of the internet for a while :D We paid it off but the damage done was too much to contemplate rebuilding It does still exist of sorts as Gixerjunkies, but on Facebook :)

  7. You may well have loads of twisty roads but judging by your bike culture, you much prefer riding in a straight line as fast as possible.

Most of the American content that appears in my Instagram feed and YouTube side bar suggestions are a yawn fest of yet another person who has put a 6ft swingarm on a Panigale or they’ve slammed their H2R and changed every single bolt on part for an anodised green version.

I dunno. Maybe the bros who ride “cenyans” are out on their bikes rather than posting on social media? ;)

  8. I’m not sure what it is with American riders.

The level does seem to be low as an average weirdly for whatever reason.

I’ve been involved in motorsport all my life really and countless friends of mine have gone to the states to nail a championship as it’s deemed as an easy way of getting one under your belt.

very odd for such a large country with what you’d think would be a large talent pool

  9. What about Kenny Roberts and Freddie Spencer not many like them these days

  10. Oh for sure they get some mega talents occasionally and that generation of riders were awesome.

But generally the level in motorsport stateside seems to be low for whatever reason.

It’s really odd because arguably nascar is one of the biggest sports in America but the rest of motorsports seems down the pecking order somewhat

  11. I think America still has the 'bad bikers' attitude so kids aren't encouraged once their parents have enough cash (middle class snobbery perhaps) shame as there should be huge potential

  12. Remember, we also have WAY more straight highways than you also.
I agree, I think it's mostly because all the real riders dont bother posting. They have too many mountain roads to ride.
