  1. wow! That’s incredible

I’m not sure how you’d even go about doing a 2:30. Was he pushing it?

  2. In my view it’s rarely about the speed difference ( unless someone is stupid slow) it’s always about the lines and the passes made! It doesn’t need to be risky and it doesn’t need to be dangerous! I remember racing at the first cc grand national and they sent all the Bsb riders out with us for practice and qualifying! Bridewell, kilo etc and even though I got lapped on about lap three lol everything was clean and respectful so it can be done ! People that do it are dickheads!

  4. The speed differential was insane. And he was oblivious to it being dangerous.

Typically the problem with slower riders is erratic lines so it makes passing more risky from what I’ve seen.
It’s difficult to police but I think they should set minimum lap times on open pit days.

  5. Exactly that Joe and I agree it’s difficult to police but I do think the tdos should make more of an effort! They could at least try!!

  6. Sorry to jump in... I’m at cadwell next week for open pit, I think the point is experienced track riders not necessarily about lap times, there will be people doing 1.30s and others doing 1.50s not a problem if the riders are track aware IMO

  7. I agree with what you mean, but would it be safe for Scott Redding to be going round on a 50cc scooter with a load of us knobbers on 200bhp bikes?
Experience doesn’t equal speed and vice versa. It’s about safety.

  8. I doubt not even Scott readding could get in the 1.50s round cadwell on a 50cc scooter!!

  9. Fucking state of this.
This is one group at Snett today. And there’s still about 10 or so out of the frame.

    Ridiculous. What’s the point!

  12. Fook dat!

  13. Must be at least 60 bikes in that shot alone.

  14. One of the last days I did in the UK with NL, there were 80+ riders in each session and 4 sessions. One of the reasons I stopped doing UK track days. Andy

  15. Was at Donington today (MSV). Wasn't too bad. Quite a few reds though, but mostly down to mechanical failure. (Was a long 12 minute drive home). Only one bell end in my group who thought he was racing for the lead of nothing. Don't know how he didn't get black flagged.

  18. Is that the procession?

  19. I was at Snett today. It was an MSV day not a NL day. Didn’t seem any busier than any other trackday. Sadly a fair few red flags tho.

  20. Snett is a decent size and likely capacity will be close to 180-200. So bound to be 60 plus per group
