I nearly ended up with a place in Canterbury but it was just a bit too far from the A2 for me :/ I’ll take chavs over students anyway
I was brought up in Canterbury left there in 1988 moved to Faversham. Moved on in 2001 to Iwade. Canterbury has turned into a toilet that needs flushing. I used to do door work in the town, now I wont even walk through it. Faversham for all of its faults is a far better place to live than Canterbury.
Looking like we have our own “Kent Chapter” I’d be up for a ride out and a cuppa when things lighten up again. I’m in Rainham
It’s funny, there’s some delightful parts of Canterbury. But for the most part its now a shit hole. It’s like Medway in the centre and full to the brim with students. It’s also got loads of immigrant gangs of recent years. Whereas faversham and whitstable are now being gentrified Funny old world we live in isn’t it
