Spent a couple of hours dry building and propping everything in place to get the top fairing mount in the right place - then bent my annealed ally tube to suit - might chop it to length tomorrow and make the brace bar. Been arranging a trip to hull to Chads for a welding session to finish the frame and swing arm but now it is pub time

 

Looks a bit like Nessie with that shape of belly pan. Are you putting any fuel in there?

 

No, tank is huge! Belly pan needs changing to make it longer and tapered at the back to mimic the original more. Nessie was a cool frame

What on Earth do you need a huge tank for?

 

To look like an endurance racer rather than a cafe racer.
