  4. Haha yeah could feel the front pretty light but it was only a trip to the ferry and then to the campsite, wasn't too bad tbh
     
  5. So is it the back loops that lift the seat so I could take them off when not it use and leave the fronts in situ like the grab strap?
    I've ordered a US20 and a 5
     
  6. Yes , the front ones are way too fiddly to keep removing & reinstalling.

  8. Got an R15 rucksack on the way. Decided to go down the 20+10+10 route.
    Should get their first outing for a trip to Scotland late April then off to Norway in the summer.

    Next up... Seats. Standard, Race or Comfort for a 6000 mile road trip. The standard feels a bit too slippy but that's another topic.
     
  9. It's definitely worth getting the hydro pack that fits in the R15. Used mine all the time when sweltering through Italy in full leathers.

  10. I use Blaze panniers on the 848 and they are easy to fit and remove, plus keep the weight lower. Good for about 40 litres and ideal for long distances
