Yeah, you could be right. I have already written the Blades off after 3 games, and having just spent 23.5 million on a new striker
Just heard about that ... be interested in been a fly on the wall at ‘old toilet’ I mean Trafford sorry
I’ll stop laughing at some point but might not be tonight.. think Liverpool will turn these over by sound of it on radio
All very true. A long wait but wow we’ve returned to the Premier league with some style and a great young squad playing done exciting football. It’s amazing how he’s turned the fortunes of the club around and the new signings he’s attracting. It also makes a nice change to hear good things being said about the team and their style of play.
I reckon might be another signing tomorrow yesterday’s performance won’t have hurt their chances of attracting players
I’m an eternal pessimist so just staying up will be brilliant....but flipping eck the investment, ownership, manager ...it seems like yesterday ken Bates raped us, or Cellino, gfh ( who seem to have been paid off now due to promotion) Dave hockaday and junior Lewis were in command not too long ago ffs that is comedy gold ....the fans who have been loyal deserve this and I pray for them if nothing else that this continues...I wish bielsa was younger and committed long term as this annual renewal is not healthy but let’s enjoy this for now as we cannot change the future and the present is dreamland for us.
What a difference a year makes! Thrashed mercilessly today. Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa, speaking to BT Sport: "The succession of three goals in such a short space of time overcame us and we could not react. In general lines they were superior to us clearly. To have lost the way we lost can't be described as just a blip."
All teams suffer set backs hopefully they’ll bounce back and improve as the season progresses, Liverpool lost by a considerable margin last season. I’ll suggest Arsenal defeat is a larger upset given Brentwoods 70 year absence from the top flight.
Yes it’s a long time since Brentford was in the top flight of football. I am so old I can remember those days. To think Grimsby Town was once a top team along with Preston North End.
PNE should be in the top flight just for having the best name in English football , not sure about Grimsby they may well smell of fish.
A close second but not quite there, PNE for me just makes me think of watching old B&W clips of football.
