Legalised prostitution

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by Archer17, Sep 27, 2012.

  1. I didn't bother to vote this time
But anything to keep women safe and also men who may like to visit one or two
Though like any other business there are good ones and bad ones. Depends who the manager is.

  2. This whole thought process started after we had a holiday to Spain 4 years ago. We rented a car and drove down to visit some friends near Murcia, and passed a couple of brothels on the way, plus the ladies sat on their white plastic chairs on the roundabouts. We asked about this and the response was, well once the Spanish women have had their families, they're not really keen on keeping the old man happy, so they'd rather he visited the local knocking shop, and left them alone! Not sure how true this is, or if it just shows that the Spanish are a bit more enlightened than we are. Plus there are "services" offered that the little lady at home might not be prepared to do! Certainly made me think!

  3. It's legal in NZ but we still have "kerb crawlers" in the major centres.

  4. Lol reminded me of Jeremy Kyle it goes on here too usually amongst friends when the old man has got the wife/gf pregnant he is off visiting the next one...

  5. Are there any major centres in NZ? Or are you including fields filled with sheep in that statement?

  18. I think anyone who falls for the romanticised view of the happy hooker who has hundreds of close friends who just happen to use her body for payment is seriously deluding themselves
Or the other old chestnut of the girl who's in control and is paying her way through college to be a lawyer etc? Get real!

In a previous life I had a job that brought me into their world, and believe me, they were without exception damaged, broken husks of women who became hardened and hated the seedy losers who used and abused them. Their lives were awful and their scrawny wasted bodies and faces told all you needed to know

Legalised or not, that's what it brings them to

  19. We don't actually know whether legalised prostitution would take women to the same "place" as the current variety. It's a guess at this point.

  20. i guess old habits die hard?
