The blurring isn't a problem. It was the fact that you couldn't see past your elbows on the 848/1098. The chicken dance was obligatory.
Right hand bar end mirror fitted today very happy with it can see much better and clearer esp if any coloured lights on car behinds roof .
I don't think they are that bad, about on par with my GSXR and I can actually see what is behind me when moving.
Sorry about picture quality i just had quick try yesterday and 30 mile tryout. Mirror can rotate and face in or out , vision was great no vibration , soon as get my bike back from service il get some better photos .
What brand are they, can they be turned so they are kind of above the throttle/grips so they don't actually stick out past the end of the bars.
Yeah full rotation adjustable can be turned above throttle I need to play around with it was only 45 quid . Been thru to many duke ones in 2 years. Il get name for u as thre package away at shop .
I don't mind the Pani mirrors at all. Rather than tuck my elbows in, I open my arms and the rear view is surprisingly good.
It's not the view for me as not to bad vision it's they work loose at knuckle and no way tightening them up . Cant see nothing just a blur , been Through few sets under warrenty .
Yeah, I had 1 mirror that kept getting brewers droop. Kept dropping down on the left hand side, hand job to put it straight, just the lens, not the whole unit. Snells sorted it as a warranty replacement, always had great service from those guys.
I got on alright with both 848 and 899 mirrors, mind you on the 848 I had to look through the gap between arms and torso lol 899 mirrors stick out far enough I can see down the road ok. If your seeing elbows you need to tuck your arms in more, exits are at the front, to the sides and at the rear.
I can see ok it's the blurred vision when mirrors work there way slack . Be better if could tighten hinge up .
