I like Lewis.I dont really care what he s like.He is a fantastic racer with fantastic results and he is a Brit.Results matter more than anything else in sport and you couldnt really argue about his,could you?
Perhaps the event had a pretentious element to it with egos and wallets looking for attention? On a one to one basis doing what he does better than his peers, he was as described.
I can't stand the bloke - old woman in my opinion - always on the race radio complaining something seems wrong - Why? Just hedging his bets I reckon, in case he cocks up.
Do I recall correctly that Williams had to get rid of Mansell because he kept dreaming up things that were wrong with the car.
Hate to be a stickler but whilst that may have been the case a while back, I don't think there is a stat out there that doesn't highlight he's already up with the F1 greats. His pole to race wins ratio is 55.55% (72/40). Senna's was 44.6%. Admittedly, Schumachers' was 58.82%, but he's right up there among them. And his race to wins is 205/62 (3.306) which is top 5 of all time (just above Schumacher 306/91 (3.363); with Senna at a distant 161/41 (3.926). .... Agree with you. Although given I just spent 5 minutes googling F1 stats (and manually updated for the last four races), really, I'm in no position to accuse anyone of being a bore I was on work time...
This season Lewis has really driven well and has imo lifted his game. To be a great, you have to consistently beat your team mates in my book. Lewis drew with Alonso which was amazing but nonetheless a draw. Then Lewis thrashed Heiki K out of the car - no surprises but credit where its due. Both beat and lost to Jenson over a season, so also a wash Rosberg was a very good match for Lewis. So no doubt Lewis is very very good. But better than the those that came before? This year and the Alonso year I think were excellent but other seasons... Could he have beaten Prost over a season regularly? On a personal note, if I hear him say " the fans here in (insert country name) are the best, I love this track more than any other" one more time I'm going to puke. Kudos for pulling Nicole S though!
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL First thing i HATE F1 with a Capital H I think it is as Dull as Dishwater lol And i tell Lewis the same thing I know him VERY VERY well And the comments i hear people say in my eyes and mind have NO FOUNDATION. He is one of the nicest and honest guys you will ever meet and if you spent time with him and his background you would understand. Again only my opinion some people NOT all are are ways putting people at the top of there game down and dragging them down lol. Comical lol BUT EVERYBODY IS ENTITLED TO THERE OPINION just wish there were more HARD FACTS to back up what they say or believe in. So nobody need to reply to my opinion its just my opinion just like it is yours
