Lidl! Cheap tops and trousers

Front is where the drawing of 4 pack is. Sadly they did not have a set with drawing of a manly beer cag

 

Lidl is the only shop I know where you can buy a loaf of bread and a drill press.

 

Wore them today under my leathers, aside from looking like "basildon bond", very comfortable

 

Yep very comfy but I feel cooler in them not hotter which is good. And I defo do not feel hotter in them when leathers cone off.....

 

That's 'cos they have squeezed your fat gut and compressed it so it's denser = colder........:wink:

 

What ever reason I like it also they do not compress hard enough

 

I got Italian kit £60 per top. German kit £70 per top. Scandinavian kit £ for get how much but you get the idea.
I buy a set every year and wear them on cold days/hot days or when ever really as a base layer. Some times two layers at a at time when the Jack Frost has been calling.

They work just as good as the expensive kit and at the price a new set every year is not out of the question.

I went in Lidl on Saturday afternoon. I purchased 2 pairs of the gloves, one for the gf and a spare pair for misen. They seem decent quality for the money. I really went in for the leotard but, as usual, sold out. I also purchased a pair o socks

 

^^^ My local Aldi has Dickies brand socks on offer at the moment along with their "own" brand. Less than £3 each and seemingly well worth it.

 

Bought the socks find them very good.also bought a flip front helmet as im skint and still getting over the shock of badly dropping my schubert
Not worn it yet 3 years guarantee seems okay not a patch on my old one but if it does a year I'll be happy.

 

Aldi have their offer on 09/03/14 for base layers\compression wear and also helmets, jackets and trousers. So if anyone has missed out there is chance again.

I might get some more compression as it's good value.

Why on earth didn't Aldi get their's on sale before or at the same time as Lidl.......?

.....These appear to be better than the Lidl stuff.....and there is a choice of base layers............and lower cost, it seems.

 

I can definitely vouch for the compression wear, and the socks are perfect under race boots.

I think the Lidl gloves at £16.99 are better than the £20 Aldi gloves to be honest Arquebus.

Cheap Gear in Aldi tomorrow - 9th of March

Aldi has kevlar jeans, lids and boots as a special tomorrow March 9th all at £30 which is damn cheap!

 

Hmmm - what was it my mate used to say - "If you've got a thirty pound head, get a thirty pound helmet", or something similar
