Average speed cameras going up on the M3 into A416 as well this year . Pretty sure I spotted one yesterday but dont think it's live yet? Going at a slow speed through high risk areas is fine but having to do 40mph for the whole commute will be torture.
I remember a period of a few years when the M25 in Surrey and Kent was 50mph average-speed-camera monitored. Visiting my sister at that time was and still is, always a pleasure, but how I managed to stay awake and alert whilst travelling that stretch of road is a mystery to me. Car or bike, it was cruel and unusual punishment for a crime I had not committed. Your senses, visual cues, etc were informing you that you were not actually moving ... that it was OK to stop concentrating as you were at rest and in no danger. It was a powerful subliminal sensation that needed constant battling to overcome. There are certain "niggles", certain tendencies within officialdom, in Britain that are making me hate this fucking country with a savage and dangerous loathing.
fancy a move? i could be looking for a secretary with some basic IT skills? and not an average speed camera for 60mls.
I was about to go to bed but now I want to start packing. You'd better not be lying about the secretary position. Or the "basic" IT skills.
