But they only sell standard unleaded, no high octane. I turned it down with the fuel light on and thought I could make it back to Winchester for some premium stuff. Ran out about 4 miles from Winnall and had to call the AA. Twat. I might go down this Saturday on the KTM if fine but the forecast isn't great. Never had a problem with the staff or their tea.
I've overheard people complain that the cappuccino was "not proper cappuccino". I know we are all different and I am supposed to respect diversity but ... bikers turning up at a biker café and complaining that you can't get a proper cappuccino? What the actual fuck?
Hmmmm so mixed reviews on Loomies then, Regardless of the Tea and staff etc, is it still worth a ride out , weather depending, Guess I could leave the pani at home and ride the SM down.
I don’t think ive ever stepped into a bikers café and thought oooh I hope theyre polite to me today and I hope I don’t have to wait too long unlike all these other bikers that appear to have turned up at the same time as me.
Granted, All views are of there own, I just started this thread as my first time I was going and wanted to see if any one else may be there, not about the food etc as I said I don't tend to eat while riding unless something small etc
Yeh me neither mate, just saying its only a bacon butty stop, some people expect the full 5* treatment from a 1* establishmnent. It doesn’t pretend to be anything other than a greasy spoon so im not sure what people expect,. It also gets exceptionally busy so hardly surprising the staff can be a bit short sometimes. I would be if I had to stand there in 100 degree heat serving greasy crap to bikers all day lol All good
HaHa Fair comment, I have worked in the trade before and know what its like when you work in all that heat and are so busy, May see you about at some poine
Red see how you feel when you get told basically to f off, I could not give a fug how good the food is but....he pushed his luck with me and the rest of us... most bikers would have given him a smack in the mouth, I am sure if he is rude to you and you're misses etc you will have no problem.. It's a great place to meet up as I said from the start, but when someone talks to you like a pile of shit don't expect to get great comments online, I am open with who I am and where I am unlike 99% of others on here (who have unknown user names etc) so my word is only an account of my experiences, and yeah I should prob just get over it. On a side note I have many "old school" biker mates i.e those like the chopper club, they don't do "Loomies" but I am sure if they did the service would improve 101%!! Just saying All good too I will never mention it again...haha edit: sorry I trashed the thread, see how pissed off it made me...lol
Might buy me a burger van lol, tbh I love Micks burger bar on Portsdown Hill, open 24/7 365 days a year, great grub with a view. And a smile...lol You know I'm not one to drag shite on right
