Suzuki is definitely a bike that would suit him, however I believe they have stated they like young talent.
Seemed like the Ducati was starting to suit him pretty well last season. I'd like to see him back on one and pushing -perhaps beating - MM at least occasionaly. No one else is doing it!
Jaylo is making alot of money doing fcuk all really he ponsed about for 2 years at Ducati and this year at Honda if he was paid by results he wouldn't have earned much
I think Halo did finally get the hang of the Ducati, let's not forget though that the Ducati has somewhat lost the advantage it had over the others, hence why Dovi can no longer take it to Marc. If he goes back it won't be a repeat of his wins on Ducati, but he'd probably run good for second place.
Honda release Lorenzo from his contract and he starts beating MM making Honda look silly. Whoever let him go is going to have some questions to answer. Much easier to keep hold of him.
I don't think they could keep him. I think JLo probably has enough money to buy himself out for the sake of any future career. Another year on that bike and he's done for as a racer.
Though some might say that Ducati didn't make the changes Jlo wanted the first season. When they finally did as he asked, he quickly started winning, though his team had already given up on him...
Honda would rather have a rider performing than one sat on the bench. Its as much about manufacturer championship and individual. If the deal made sense, they'd let him go. IMO
Really don't believe Ducati wouldn't make the changes JL wanted concidering how much they were paying him Can't imagine VR or MM putting up with that kind of crap
Things do need a big shake up somewhere along the line. But, whatever happens ,unless MM can be prised off that Honda seat then it’s just going to take another few seasons before all the riders can gel on their new rides. So he will keep turning out the results race after race. Agree that whorehay would be best suited on the Suzuki too. Reckon he could get going on that pretty damn quick. I really hope Jack M gets treated well by his team . He is great to watch.
You might be right & there was more to it. Still this article talks about JLO wanting changes to the bike pre '18 season that didn't happen, then the tank redesign takes place and bingo three wins in short succesion. https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/8...w-ducati-modifications-boosted-victory-charge I'd just like to see Ducati on the top step, and JLO looked like he could become that guy last season.
His HRC contract runs until end of 2020..I'll be surpised if JL will change a bike that won couple of titles in the last years for a satellite Ducati. In my opnion there is nothing wrong with Honda,JL arrived with injuries and then maybe pushed too hard before completely understanding/seting up the bike resulting in even more injuries. Similar to what happened in the first year on the Ducati.
Going of track slightly i'd love to see Kawasaki test themselves in motogp when they win yet another world superbike championship.
