  6. It will clash with my open face, waxed cotton Belstaff and plus fours. So I for one will not be purchasing.

  7. I wonder what would have happened if you'd phoned up Lotus and said you'd email them through a design for a Lotus super bike and they'd received that.

I can't help feeling they wouldn't have got back to you.

It must be someone's pet project. Someone who will soon be fired.

  8. Even if they does not see the light of day, it's great publicity for the Lotus name.

  9. It's publicity. Not sure how great it is.

  10. It looks like a Harley XLCR 1000 crossed with a brick !

  11. I agree. The maxim of "There is no such thing as bad publicity" is wrong in this instance.

  12. if they will by a victory chopper , they will by that.

  13. Briggs and Stratton driving a big eff off alternator.

  14. You really need to get out more. British designers are among the best in the bloody world. This isn't the work of any of them, it's the work of a student who once saw a Harley...

  16. It's really no superbike is it.

apparently a short production run (100 or 200 off?)

ill be be honest, I reckon they could make it shorter and still have a couple to stick on eBay after 6 months in a lonely crate

  17. Maybe they will sell them all on eBay. It wouldn't be a lot dafter as a roll out plan than the bike is as a design.

Sell bikes? Sure. But who is going to service them, who is going to sell them and what about all the back-up and spares? Why would you do this for the sake of 100 bikes?

The people at Lotus are losing the plot.
