I didn’t see that, about the enforcement of COVID rules, I’ll take your word for it Jez. Yes I’d agree, every burglary should be attended. It’s horrible that someone could be a victim of this and not even have a cop turn up. Rape convictions are always a point of contention. Police seem to get the blame for this whereas the charging decision for Rape is made entirely by the Crown Prosecution Service. Police collate the evidence and then the responsibility lies with the CPS. The CPS don’t accept the case until all evidential lines of enquiry have been covered off. It’s just a nature of the offence that the defence often used of consent is very difficult to contest.
its an interesting news article, if that was one of the bikes stolen, then wouldnt it be good to report on that, otherwise usual public just see motorcycles in a bad light
