Or man up and ride it the way it is? Geez it's a Ducati they all do that, it's character remember lol
I'm assuming you've already sold the Termi? If not, then put the thing back on for the tour and sort out the issue with the stock setup when you get home If that's not an option; Given you have very little time or money, consider changing the front sprocket for 1 tooth smaller. This is cheap and easy to do and takes the revs a little higher for a given speed in a given gear. I found it helped the in-town running of my bike until such times as I could afford an exhaust and CJS remap. Also, getting your dealer to set up the bike as well as possible without the remap can make a huge difference (I think it's to do with the balance of throttle bodies, but can't swear to it). If you've taken a bike that was optimised for the Termi and put it back to standard you may find that this has exaggerated the well documented issues of poor low rev running on earlier bikes. Final point: How long did the previous owner run the bike as stock before fitting the termi? There were numerous updates to the fuel map for the standard ECU in the first year and a bit after release - but if your bike was by then running happily on the Termi and associated race ECU they the standard ECU may well have an old map in it. Perhaps a polite enquiry to a decent dealer explaining the problem and the urgency might get someone to check it and even update it to the latest map??
Have you got a standard system and can now? Have you got the standard ecu fitted? Does it lurch on steady throttle or is it lumpy at an opening-accelerating throttle?
