  1. You finding the new SH better than the last? Not messed with settings yet but seems far more compliant at the lower end of speed, wallows a bit, but flick the switch speed wise and it firms up and manages the biggest bumps and potholes at speed

  4. I'm very impressed with the toughness of the Ducati panniers for this bike. I would say as tough as the aluminium ones. The painted section is red and can be replaced if scratched. They don't stick out more than the handlebar ends. I'm careful filtering as I'm used to an ST1300 which has panniers that are slightly narrower than the front. I'm using a Givvi E55 top box. Each box starts off as 5kg empty. I had to carry a laptop on my trip to Italy and the top box was the only box it would fit in. That extra weight was noticeable on French roundabouts where I could feel the inertia. Next time, I'm going to use Kriega tail packs that will strap to the seat when riding (keeping the topbox empty) and when I park and want security I can unhook them and store them in the topbox. The panniers were fully loaded, probably 10kg each side including the box weight, and the bike performed really well up the passes.
