Gotta love parts in stock The bolts were bright zinc and I didn't have any passivated ones the right length so I dusted them with some light gold paint as the silver was bothering me. My anorak investigations found mention that this early spec M900 had weights secured by an olive green countersunk screw, anyone know anything about this?
I'm getting in some more rides in as the weather gets better down here in the southern hemisphere, the Monster is running great. I recently changed the fork oil and set the height to 130mm as per some recommendations I have seen. I previously had it at 80mm as per the manual, and it feels much nicer at low speed on bumpy inner city roads, I guess that's the airspring effect. My rider sag measurement has increased so I suppose I should add some preload to get it back.
