i got a chain adjuster from e-bay off a guy in doncaster £13.00, really good quality too. good idea to follow the guide you posted, guarantee you will be happy with the result

Hi Tom. I'm in a similar position now as you were then, only been riding a Suzuki Gladius for training but really want (need) a Monster after I pass Mod 2. How have you found the 796 now you've had all these months on it? Did you ever modify it as was suggested?
Hey, I changed the front sprocket to 14T which helped a bit and I fitted a throttle tamer as most of my riding was slow speed in traffic so that helped as well. I'm just about to put my 796 ABS up for sale as we're moving house soon and I won't have room for it there. Shame really as I've hardly done any miles on it and love it!
Thanks TomS. When you advertise let me know. I'm on the look out for nice Monster examples and ABS is a bonus having testing the emergency stop in the rain on Sunday! My Mod 2 is on Monday (fingers crossed).
