  2. Hello.
Is the building in your photograph the Tomb of Napoleon in the Dôme des Invalides, Paris?
An impressive setting for a very nice bike.
    Tom.

  3. Yes Tom, les Invalides. It used to be a military hospital before it became Napoleon’s mausoleum (hence the name). And before that, it was the Royal armory. That’s actually were the fight started during the French Revolution. People stormed this place to get firearms and then take the Bastille. I think this is where there were the greatest casualties…

  4. Thanks for the background information Guillaume, which is always interesting to have but sometimes hard to find.
I have sold-on many of my bikes over the years, including a number of Ducatis, and still miss some of them occasionally.
I'm sure you will also miss the Matrix from time to time, but you now have a new challenge to keep you busy, with the two classic/classy Ducatis.
I look forward to reading your thread on the restoration, and seeing the end result, which I'm sure will be to the standard of your Matrix.
    Good luck.
    Tom.

  5. We could do with some of that French spirit over here Guillame.
Vive la France, vive la revolution.

  6. So could we. That spirit was alive 234 years ago. What’s left of it today? We shall see sooner than later…

  9. Sorry but I find this question odd for a few reasons.

What use is a Euro CofC in the USA?
Hopefully I'm wrong but this screams rather dodgy for me and there's no way I'd share a copy of the ID of my bike.
