Mce - Gone Into Administration

Discussion in 'Insurance - Sponsored by Ducati Insurance' started by bradders, Nov 9, 2021.

  1. Open the e-Mail read it then get back to forum to ask the next question, don’t worry not a problem there is no fee for advise here Mary. :upyeah:

  2. Simply wait until the next email tomorrow telling you the opposite information, like they’ve done over the last 6 months

  3. It says they no longer insure your bike and instruct you to give it to me. I’ll collect Sat. HTH

  4. Pfff, can’t be arsed with admin. It’s just too dull… I guess this means I don’t have to cancel my policy when I sell the bike? Convenient!

  6. They were cheapest. That’s why I went with them. Legal documents for the road…

  7. When I came back to bikes after a big gap with zero no claims, they were the cheapest by a long shot, that soon changed tho once I'd built up a couple of years NCD.

Sad to see any company fold, not for the owners but the employees and the clients.

  8. Man who owns 100k Porsche turbo who has a taste for danger using cheap insurance companies that have a rep for being shit bags for paying out.

This is why we are internet friends x

  9. I didn’t know they were shit at paying out. Bought a KTM for shits and giggles in the summer. That’s all.
Judgement lad. Judgement. It’s what gets us through life ;) So far so good. For me anyway.
    911’s not worth 100k either.

  10. Had the same email, currently going through a claim as I got taken off my monster in dec, hopefully this doesn’t effect the claims progress….

  11. And I would think 99% of people buy insurance on the same premise.

  12. I cannot get insurance anywhere else. Looks like the Panigale has to go now. Gutted

  13. I think all policy holders will have this email looking at to the wording.

  14. Have you tried BeMoto?

  15. Yep. It’s a no from them. One place I have found wants £217 a month. Insane. Anyone want a perfect v4s just over a year old with less than 2k miles???

  16. I've gone online and downloaded insurance docs including last renewal with the NCB entitlement.

I've messaged them asking if they will provide no claims entitlement notice when my insurance ceases ...as this is the one which next insurer will ask for ....

  18. Just online chatted FSCS .....also registered for their MCE updates

They say if entitled I will automatically be refunded 90% of remaining policy value ....

  19. What the hell have you been up to for that sort of premium? Or are you a 17yr old trying to ride a £25k sports bike in central London?

  20. I recently came back to riding bikes. Had an s1000rr gen 4 for 10 months then sold it for a very good price to buy a Panigale. Devitt wouldn’t insure the Panigale do rather than let the policy run I stopped it short and went with MCE. What a mistake!!!!!
