This is completely standard for MCE, until you have an accident, then they don't answer the f++kin phone at all.
I was with MCE and wanted cover for the California Superbike school at Brands for a day. They said yes we'll cover you for the day but said the excess is 50 percent of the value of the bike! So that is many thousands of pounds for what I am told is classed as training not a track day.
Thanks a lot guys! Really after reading far too many horror stories - one here and elsewhere regards MCE there is NO WAY I would go with them. The whole point of having insurance is to have some back up when the shit hits the fan and if they are fuckers at that point it's not worth having. The two times I have had big issues I always had way too much shit to deal with when it comes to these robbing fuckers - just at a time when you are already stressed out. They are real highwaymen for sure - that whole industry stinks and is more like a street corner con artist with a ball and three cups than an 'essential support service'. Fkrs the lot of em!
