When I first got my job at Kettering where MCN used to be based I hadn't even heard of it and needed to look it up on a map. It looked very far north!!!
All my mates confused it with Catterick and were winding me up about the number of squaddies who would be out to pummel a soft southern lad like me!!
If some people want a get together at the Ducati dealer in Coventry (or Lincoln), that could done in addition to a meeting in Aylesbury. Perhaps open it up to riders of all Ducatis? Just a thought. :wink:
Both Coventry and Aylesbury are a bit far from me so can't we have it in St Neots which is only 10 miles away? Aylesbury would get my vote if it came down to a choice between there and Coventry because I know the roads better and it'd be a good excuse to act the idiot on some of them :wink:

Coventry is better for me. Anything south of Warwickshire and I suddenly develope a nose bleed for some reason. ;0)

Under the seat, in a plastic bag with the puncture kit. I'd rather pay the non-display fine. Never had one in 30 years of riding. Always explain that they get stolen. It's so easy to check these days, I don't think they bother down in London and home counties (currently Fracking free :biggrin
Aylesbury is a pretty crap ride for me, Andy. Whichever way i go i have a spell of dull motorway miles and as pointed out its hardly in the middle of the country. I'll see when the event is given a date and then decide.
HI Andy I am up for this at Coventry with maybe a ride out to Matlock for some good photo opportunities! I have done a thousand miles on the new Ohlins Semi Active SCU if you want some commentary on that as well. G.
Too far North too far south!!! The Multi is a continental crosser. Surly anywhere in the UK is doable and back in a day.......... Is it just me? If I'm here I'll be going, but it is easy for me to say as I live in the middle of the country.
Some of us have done enough travelling around the country on a daily basis, so happy to meet in the middle.
+1 50k a year for work. +5k in my car +5-10k bike =60-65k Long motorway stints in this country are a huge turn off. Fact. Now if its somewhere I can make an interesting route to get to it then I really don't mind a few miles............
Plenty of back roads from Denham up to Aylesbury and on to Coventry. I'm up for this too if its on a weekend. Will be travelling from London. We could share routes and even meet up to go together.
Is there a date yet? I don't mind a few hundred miles as I've got a Mutley. And we don't want those Northern Monkeys anywhere down south :biggrin:
