  1. Not a clue :)

  2. at least ya honest... i cant even spell my own name correctly in my team name.. Still i done ok last year think i was 3rd or 4th maybe in the end.. like last years format better as was gp moto 2 and 3 which is all i get time (with a struggle) to follow. Still its all good and adds to the fun i think.
not much heckling goes on though...

  3. He hasnt entered

  4. Not a clue wasn't my team name :)

  5. I'll do it, but someone ought to explain the finer points of the rules to me. Last year (if it was last year) I seemed to stake most cash on Moto GP (the only thing I really follow) only to find that BSB or WSBK seemed to dish out double points, there being twice as many races.
I didn't do enough transfers either.
Or maybe I just failed to understand what was going on (likely).

  6. I'm in...

  7. Yes, all guidance gratefully received :)

  8. Team Selection
    • Simply select a team consisting of six riders - two from each classification (MotoGP, World Superbikes and British Superbikes) all from your budget of £10 million.

    • Register your team by 04:00 GMT on Saturday, 21 February (the scheduled start time for the WSB Superpole session in Australia) to ensure that your team starts scoring from the very first race weekend.

    • Once you've registered, your team will score points from the start of the next scheduled race or qualifying session onwards. This means you can miss qualifying but still get points when the riders speed away from the start line!

    • Don't worry if you're short of time - our Lucky Dip facility can select you a team in an instant. With unlimited changes allowed right up to the start of the season, you can register your team today and then delay your final selections until just before the start of the game if you wish.
    Scoring
    • Your riders will then score points based on their performances in qualifying and race results from all races during 2015 and help you mount a challenge for some fantastic prizes!
    Game Rounds
    • The season is broken down into six different scoring phases, also referred to as Game Rounds. They also determine when team changes can be made.
    Team Changes
    • Online team changes are unlimited until 04:00 GMT on Saturday, 21 February, allowing for any of last minute changes of heart. After that, you can make a maximum of three team changes per transfer window, all free of charge. For more details on changing your team, click here.

The scoring system for MCN Fantasy Road Race is very simple and easy to understand.

Your six riders will score points based on how they perform in their stated classification (i.e. BSB riders will not score points in WSB races etc.), gaining points for qualifying and their final finishing position in each race.

    Points for Grid Position:
    First:
    Second:
    Third:
    Fourth:
    Fifth:
    5 pts
    4 pts
    3 pts
    2 pts
    1 pts

Please note: Grid points will only be awarded if they are determined by a qualifying session or based on times from an official practice session. Additional grid points are not awarded for grid positions in subsequent BSB races which are determined by fastest lap times in the previous race.

    Points for Race Finishing Position:
    First:
    Second:
    Third:
    Fourth:
    Fifth:
    Sixth:
    Seventh:
    Eigth:
    Ninth:
    10th:
    11th:
    12th:
    13th:
    14th:
    15th:
    25 pts
    20 pts
    16 pts
    13 pts
    11 pts
    10 pts
    9 pts
    8 pts
    7 pts
    6 pts
    5 pts
    4 pts
    3 pts
    2 pts
    1 pts

Please note: In the event that a race is abandoned before half distance is reached (in which case half points are awarded in the real-life classifications), full points are still awarded in the Fantasy Road Race game as above.

However, in the event of officials deciding to award double points in a race to counteract a previous race which had been cancelled, points will also be doubled in Fantasy Road Race.
