  2. Yes, it will do TPMS, anti-theft and fuel value, QS and heated grips on the 1260. Not there for the 1200 though (I don't need em mind).

  5. Now I've had a chance to try it out for myself I've got to say that I'm impressed. The amount of information as well as the ability to, check and errase error codes, reset service indicators, activate accessories etc. is all in there for my 1260s MTS. Pleased with my purchase.

The activation process was a bit Chinglish in nature and didn't explain that my chosen username wasn't available, just stalled the process without telling me why. Otherwise all good.

  6. It wouldn't accept my first choice of username either, but it did say it was taken when it refused :)

I used the one I use here on my second try which was acceptable. You have more functions than I do with having a 1260, I was really hoping for a foglight enable function...but I am still well happy with what I do have

  7. If I recall it wasn't quite where I was expecting it to be, sorry don't recall quite where...

  8. Guys, if you have any function requests for your bikes put them on here, I'll forward them on to the OBDstar support team, it does no harm to ask!

  9. Definitely the add-on Ducati foglight enable on 1200 DVT post 2015 (and 1260) Multistrada's please. All the wiring and switchgear are in place to add the lights, but unless activated in the ECU, they will still not work.
I cannot think of anything else?

  10. Did you find the heated grips enable/disable? Can't think that if it had that then it didn't for the spotlights. Was in the same section on mine.

For the 1260 it seems to have everything needed including things like pin code reset.

Not sure if it does key programing, that would be useful if not. I did see a video on the OBDStar website about doing this on BMWs that needed an additional plugin device for the key. Not sure if the same is required for Ducatis?

  11. I do have the pincode reset too. The heated grip enable thing is there for the 1260, but not there for the 1200 mate. Mine (1200DVT) were fitted OEM anyway, so on a personal level, not an issue.

Just the foglight enable would help.

It may need another add-on for the key programming, did I read that? I did not look into that too deeply to be fair.

  12. Hopefully the spotlight enable feature will be there on a future update. Especially if Robert reports that it's absent to the manufacturer.

  13. How are you able to 'drill down' into the options on the 1260 when you own a 1200 Multi? I find that trying to look in any detail at the capabilities of each control unit requires the reader to be plugged into the bike.

  14. Was talking with OBDSTAR support this morning and asked them about adding the fog light enable, they are adding the BBS code and reset on the next update. I have requested the fog light activation hopefully they’ll get on it for the following update.

  15. Thank you Robert, excellent support :upyeah:

  16. I can't, but if you look at the files or screenshot I added on post 22, it shows what IS available for the 1260 models.

Given I can drill down on my 1200 as per the other screenshot, its logical to assume that the 1260 special functions will be as per the menu shown ;)

  17. Thankyou very much. Hopefully they will add the 1200 DVT version as well as the 1260 :)

  18. Ok, so you lot have MADE me go out and buy one of these....:grinning:.....it is quite impressive isnt it ?
Sat down this am playing with the various settings etc and its very clever,
however...and I'm aware it could be the way I've done this, but having altered the date on the bike to next year to bring on the annual service indicator on the dash, I cant reset it, I just get "security verification failure" or something similar
so it could be the unit is confused as to why the dates dont match (it knows its 2022) or am I doing something wrong ?
have you guys managed to reset any of the lights ?

  19. I reset my annual service light with no bother, but it was showing on the dash as being overdue. If you tried resetting without it being due - there is your issue.

You can still set todays date in your Ducati settings but that is separate to the service date.

Mine automatically selected an additional year to reset to. I didn't need to pick one, although the option to do that, was there

  20. The bike “thinks” it’s due as I’ve told it it’s next year already :grinning: and the reminder was showing in the dash… however it’s sounds like it’s as I suspected and the unit knows it still 2022 so fails the reset
Pleased that yours reset the lights no bother and that it’s my playing around that’s the issue
    Thanks for the reply :upyeah:
