Metzeler M7rr's - Not Too Impressed.

Discussion in 'Tyres' started by comfysofa, May 21, 2015.

  1. That seems low for road work. 32/34 F/R would seem more appropriate!

  2. Same here , 1400 out of my SC , switched onto M7 again better UK tyre

  3. Yeah, agreed, but for me, my rsv4 does no more than 1.5k per year at the most and only in dry weather so I'd rather have the performance....I'm not worried so much about the m7's on the zed as it's not as performance angled, but, my point was, just about every review pitched them directly at the sc's and they're no where near....they're ok but nothing to write home about...

  4. Well I got my SF 848 back today with the M7rr's fitted, so first order of the day was to get them scrubbed in, It was a nice warm sunny day and after about 40miles job was done.
What do I think of them ? I like them, felt very planted, saw the TC lights come on a few times but never once felt the back end step out.

  5. My tyre pressures are 33 front and 36 rear seems to work really well for me and my SF :)

  6. Yep, I'm 35 rear, 33 front on mine and that seems perfect, though I've dropped them a couple of pounds in this hot weather.

  7. Is there any weight difference between the 1098 and the 848 ?

  8. I believe they're the same weight.
