Michael Dunlop says prospect of missing 2014 season is 'real'

  1. I don't know why all the digs about Guy Martin being on TV. The bloke fixed lorries and paid for his own rides not that long ago and now he's having a much better time. Good on him, I say. If only lives were so easy to change for everyone else!

  2. And he is doing a good job promoting motorcycle racing. Good on him.

  3. ^ incredible jump but makes sense from BM point of view as will firmly establish them as a 'Superbike' manufacturer/will spread the word to those who weren't aware already (if all goes according to plan).

  4. I just don't see how Dunlop fits with BMW, it's un-proven at the TT, he doesn't want to work in a corporate way (seems to be the general feeling) and yet I imagine BMW are ultra clinical in how they operate. I don't get it.

He could have loads of wins on a very good Honda if he just got on with it, honestly these road racers (Guy Martin sometimes included) are seriously fussy about there 'Freedom'..... They are happy to take the cash but don't seem to accept that the sponsors pay.

  5. Personally, I think it's a good move. I can see that beemer mopping up the opposition.
