Ducbird, I remember this and followed you on the ride out. There was two of us up from Swindon on 748s, I am 9th from the right behind the youngest attendee. Ma Larkin's closed the following year and is now a second hand car show room. Some came a long way for that meet, shame the weather wasn't better but the bacon/ sausage butties and tea were top class.
I think it was one of the first meets I had ridden my own bike Bit snails pace I expect following me but hopefully my SS rear kept you occupied Awww Steve GD is on there RIP Lovely lovely man I wished he had been my dad I think masher RIP and mrs masher are on there too Be great to meet you all again
The name came from a shitful of poo in the manhole outside which I had to clear one Sunday morning, just in case you were wondering ! Garden isn't big enough for camping, but you can shit in any of three manholes if you do. Got a 3m square marquee also which the clowns can perform in. - and it's in the middle of England, near the England training ground at Rangemore. Saying that, the pub nearest that at Anslow, the New Inn, has bike meets on a Sunday night, big car park. He is a biker himself and he lays on music and a free barbecue on Sunday. I'm sure that he could accommodate few nutters on a Saturday. Then there is the ' Mucky Duck ' at Fradley junction on the canal. Otherwise known as the Black Swan. He also likes bikes and the food and beer is excellent.
1. No barbecue and no camping. 2. I am not coming 3. The 1198SP will be gone 4. I'm getting an MV F4 RR 5. It will be bye bye forum
need suggestions as to venue. As I said right at the beginning I can't make the date which was preferred
