Ooh, a Yamaha R125 in an Italian frock! Sometimes buying Italian makes perfect sense. Not in this case, sadly:Meh:
one I wish I had got my hands on was a n rg 125 new a lad that had one back in the day just thought it was sooooo cool
RG125 - stick the power valve blanker in there 100mph straight away - plus the if you get the top end off theres loads of scope for wet and dry based tuning. I had an MTX125 which was great for tuning plus you could turn the rear shock wishbone upside down and jack it up, pop some air in the front forks to bring them up. There was a metal washer in the front pipe which could be filed out also, coupled with a DEP tail pipe and a carb from a MTX 200 - good to go...I did look a few weeks back and there was quite a few old ones on ebay, ripe for renovation...
I have one of these in red, it was a lovely lil bike BUT it got nicked off my then girlfriends drive and saw the bits going in the local bike breakers the day after, went to the police right away they visited the shop but did nowt! a pic off google to how it looked and i also had the seat cowl
Thing is though it was in there the week before for the brakes fixing and when the police went down with me the mechanic said yeah thats his bike it has my thumb print on it lol
