Apart from inconsistent management sometimes, it seems to work well enough. Can’t think of one occasion I’ve moaned to a mod in a pm about anyone without them knowing it directly. On any forum. The level of dross and nastiness seems to have increased over recent months, hence I’ve not been visiting or posting much. Life’s too short to deal with virtual knobheads
Main contributors (top 25 most contributed) posted 350,000 out of 1,000,000 posts --- that's a lot (50,000 are one word), still 30% of the content from 25 people. 185,000 posts from the top 10 contributors, nearly 20% from 10 people. I'm not sure all 25 are enjoying the level of banter at it's current rate? Perhaps it's the majority of forum members who find a dislike to the banter and it's a few of the 25 that like it? Still 300,000 posts is a lot of work for one moderator. QUOTE="Exige, post: 1071153, member: 25311"]So has the Forum been steadily growing in numbers or declining ? Can we have a year on year graph since inception [/QUOTE] I've combined Robs data with that in the notable members section.... I don't have access to the year on year data, but surely it's growing. Of the top 25, 3 members aren't seen anymore, for mainly life style / bike choice reasons. @Rob do we have that data and is it relevant to this thread? I think the level of dross and nasty comments have dropped considerably in recent months, considering the weather.
There seems to be a disagreement between you two gentlemen Now for the sake of the forum let's keep it clean.
Perhaps on track with regard to the OP's question would be a great start? In reply to your post, but not aimed at you.
