  1. Don't let a few (alright then, alot) of juvenile stuff (from me included) stop you from posting insider titbits/photos from the likes of Macau etc.
It's exactly what we want - and need around here. :upyeah:

  2. That’s a shame for those of us who would have enjoyed that insider info :(

  3. You poor little man. Yes, even with a downcast admission from Terblanche I "lots" if that will keep you from spitting your dummy.
Now go off and try and flog your plaques for $30 a pop you entrepeneur. :joy:

  4. I need a referendum on:

    1. Leave the Forum
    2. Remain in the Forum

Costs me 59billion a week to be on the forum. I could spend it on myself. Yep I'm leaving.

  5. Post some stuff up then, make it engaging and entertaining and people will respond... I'd have loved to have seen your Macau stuff, for example. I was there and it looks like you were in Ben Wylie's garage? Especially given that we were so relieved that the red flag at the end of the bike race was not as bad as it could have been (not saying it wasn't painful and disappointing for Ben and Crowey). Your thoughts and perspective would have been interesting, especially from the pit / garage / paddock vibes - up in Lisboa we were head-in-hands at times for the marshalls and race direction's incompetence.

The point was made though that even the waffle keeps the forum moving, and TBH compared to a lot of other forums it's friendly, well run and is quite useful and fun. Nobody has a gun to your head, you don't have to post or even visit the forum if you don't want to. It'd be great to read new content from you whether it's on or off topic.

    Chin up! :)

  7. Not sure you can do that constitutionally. What about the GFA (good forum agreement)? I’m sure that said you are tied forever, with no option to go, and have to continue paying subscription...

  8. The DF says to me..

Friends I would never ever of had, if it had not of been..

At times... Like Samaritans, but with the addition of a V twin heart, giving strength and the necessary Talk ( torque) when maybe your suffering something of a misfire in life..

Informative, fun and full of bins.. Has bin’s, might have bin’s, could av bin, bin and bought this and even a little Shakespeare for those without... “ Two bin or not two bin, that is the question” well not really mate as 2 bin’s - 2 bin’s = 0 bin’s ...

The, Ducati Forum, where DF means more than just beautiful Italian dreams...
DF, DedicatedFriends, together, forever, and perhaps even beyond..

A brilliant forum run by some very special guys.. Guys we’re so lucky to have around.. TY for being so..

My only suggestion is the addition of a forum category where members can, should they so wish, unload, to tell, or maybe just to ask for help, if, they are personally struggling a little.. A safe place to share personal thoughts and worries..

    X

  11. Oh Christ No, just having a bit of fun. I enjoy "argument" in the true sense of that word. Being a crusty old lawyer a forum allows me to argue without the constraints of formality of my profession.

Unfortunately too many people take it as hostility - I am not one of those :)

  15. I bet they are either (1) relatively junior practitioners (who are pumped within an inch of their lives or (2) personal injury lawyers who spend their lives between getting new clients and case management/court appearances.

I practice generally in the field of looking at draft legislation with a view as to whether it is ultra vires/constitutional etc.

    My car is very neat.
