Well I was thinking of selling my SF but looking at the way things are going the smart move might be to hang on to it, maybe even moth-ball it. Top dealer prices haven't changed in the two years since I bought mine, if anything they've crept up a bit. 1098 Streetfighters really could be an appreciating future classic. I think I ought to wait and see for a year or two...
You won't loose anything if you do hold on to it....paid 7.2k (swapped my 1100s hyper) for my rsv4 pre Aprc 4 years ago..... Still selling for around 8k now...
Isn't the engine the most important thing? For me, of the recent and current bikes, it is in this order: Superquadro Desmodue Evoluzione Testastretta Evoluzione I think this rules the Streetfighter out for me? I reckon I might buy a Monster when the Superquadro engine gets plopped in there. When might that be?
Well, ive been waiting longer than that for them to put the multistrada lump into the hyper but give them [Ducati] a couple more stabs at it and they'll get there...they seem to have started at 821 and are going up 100cc's or so at a time so they'll get there eventually...
