Have been trying for a repair with a specialist in Athens but so far no luck with getting it back to me. I have been told that the immobiliser wasn't activated despite the dash light functioning when the bike was turned off. If I never see my instrument pod again or its junk , are there any alternatives available such as an after-market dash or similar?
At long last ! Finally got the repaired pod back from Athens yesterday after nearly 2 months. All working well now again, the pod weatherproofed to a degree (technician said there was evidence of previous water ingress....not with me, never seen rain or aggressive washing!), the immobiliser re-activated as unbeknown to me it wasn't operating, and the ECU re-programmed.....all good....
