  1. E554B695-044F-43F3-B115-4A4897822420.jpeg I miss this bike, it was awesome and regret letting it go, but I needed something for touring and just couldn't afford to keep it. :(

  2. Feel for you mate. I have the 1200 Stripe and can’t see me letting mine go anytime soon.
Nice pic and I really like the mirrors on your monster. What are that?

  3. Very nice. Do you know the code for the gold on your wheels? Wouldn’t mind that myself.

  4. Hi stevebetts

    They are original Marchesini Wheels
The rims are anodized and not painted.

  5. FB6A739C-5257-49F7-AADB-8886B5215ECE.jpeg My old Monster a little modded here and there, frame chop, carbon bits, Marchesini front wheel, Maxton rear shock and internals set up for a 75kgs rider, Brembos callipers, Termi exhausts and a few one off parts from the previous owner.

Might sell as it’s just an ornament now…….

  6. Love it, that's a carby right? The old, air-cooled ones are my fav.

  7. Yes this is carbed, hasn’t been ridden in 3 years a very early model had the engines studs replaced as the previous owner bought it not running. He then set to work on it to make it what it is in the photo.

  11. Was pretty easy tbh - just autosol on a scourer (not a metal one), bit of elbow grease and buff up with a microfibre. Prob gave it 3 passes and less than 90 mins to sort (over 2 sessions). Not sure it'll stay looking like it for long, but if don't let it get back to how it was in first pic I reckon it's a 25 minute job to re-pristine it.

  15. I have fitted new titanium manifolds welded in Italy to my Monster 1100 RS. Very satisfied with the result.
The original manifolds were produced in 45mm stainless steel. The titanium manifolds are produced in 48mm tubes.
Had it washed in Absolut Vodka to get rid of all finger marks and grease.

I took my first test drive today, and what a wonderful sound it produced.
It was mapped by people in Moto GP for Metaltech when it was built.
The exhaust system is one off, and produced only for this Monster, like many other components on it.
The exhaust system is EU approved, with db killers fitted. I love it

The last two photos were taken after a few drives.

  16. That's stunning

  17. Wasn’really looking for a Monster but, to nice to pass on when it did show up really close.
18000km FSH and looks very well taken care of.
Happy to have a monster in the garage again since I did trade in the 937 against a Tuono Factory a while ago.
