Just got back. Had a ride up to Monyash after with Tonup and Postmaster. Great day out and nice to meet a few forum members. Thanks for reserving the tables Ross it made finding people a little easier as it was very busy.

We were in the motorbike shop looking at the bikes. 9.45, back in London. Long day. Probably was a 500 mile round trip.

Nice route.. I have done some of that route a few times but not from Holmfirth. Did a total of 3+ hours yesterday with only one pit stop
Likewise good to finally put a friendly face to a name and hope its not the last time. Nice Bike, and nice ride too! What would you say were the best legs of that journey? I try and and ride in the peaks whenever I can (not very frequently!!), looking for a new route!
The bit between Holmfirth and Sheffield were good. Going through Sheffield was crap (and was expected to be too) then from Chesterfield to Clay Cross was good. The rest of the ride from Clay Cross to Matlock Bath was good and then from Matlock Bath to Castleton (Blue John mines) was great, then from Castleton to Holmfirth via Snake Pass and Glossop were awesome. if you and Bal (@scratch pervert) ever fancy meeting up for a days riding just let me and/or @bettes know
