I was listening to Jeremy Vine debating this issue at lunchtime and it’s amazing how dumb some people are. They had a TPAC trained and authorised cop who explained that each incident would be taken on its own merits and the tactical contact only allowed if the full criteria was met yet still some bloke who phoned in was banging on about the police indiscriminately knocking kids off scooters as if every scooter rider in London was about to be given a nudge under a passing bin truck. Thick as mince.
